Simple Basil Recipe:
1 cup fresh basil leaves
3 cloves garlic, peeled
3 tablespoons cashew nuts
1/3 cup grated Parmesan
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup olive oil
Directions: in a blender or food processor, add basil first then the rest of the ingredients, pulse until you have the desired consistency. It is best when rough chopped and not a smooth puree!
